Ellen created The StressLess MethodⓇ, a 4-step proprietary process based on the sciences of stress, behavior change, and adult learning. The StressLess MethodⓇ incorporates evidence-based tools, theories, and techniques to support a personalized holistic experience that establishes lasting change, including positive psychology, resilience, strengths, growth mindset, grit, self-compassion, meditation, and mindfulness.
“Audience members and clients leave feeling supported and confident to tackle the stress in their lives- especially in the post-pandemic landscape.”
Ellen’s professional background and expertise includes 12 years as a published scientific researcher, 9 years as an award-winning university instructor, and 8 years leading The StressLess MethodⓇ. She has a Masters Degree in Adult Education, is a National Board Certified Health + Wellness Coach, and a Wellcoaches Professional Health + Wellness Coach. She’s helped thousands of students and clients transform their life and health by learning how to manage their stress in a way that works for them.
Ellen believes that the ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to employee well-being and stress management is too limited for people and organizations who are committed to making real, lasting, and sustainable changes. She uses a solution-focused, customizable, and experiential process that strengthens connection to awareness, meaning, and purpose so that participants can discover what works for them to manage their stress and take purposeful-action. The StressLess MethodⓇ enhances better health individually and a more agile, productive & connected workplace for the organization.
“Ellen is fantastic!”
“Ellen is an incredibly gifted facilitator who is a breath of fresh air, especially for anyone struggling with the stress of working in tech. She led a workshop, "Self-Care in Software," for a community I organize called Empathy In Tech. It was a sold-out event and got rave reviews from participants. Ellen is funny, engaging, and has deep knowledge of what causes stress and how to resolve it. She is a joy to work with and I took away many tips from her talk that have personally made a difference in reducing my own stress levels. If you're leading a team in the tech space and are looking for someone who can help your team recover from the pervasive culture of urgency, Ellen is a fantastic resource!” -Andrea Goulet, Co-founder and Chief Vision Officer of Corgibytes and Heartware

“engaging, relatable, and super fun”
“Ellen's work is extremely important in today's high-stress, high-burnout landscape. I recently worked with her when she facilitated a sold-out workshop for the Empathy in Tech community I helped co-found. She easily engaged with people from varying backgrounds and locations, created an environment of trust, and presented easy-to-implement tools. Ellen's expertise in her field helps people and organizations set themselves up for success by integrating self-care and stress management into their routines and operations. She is engaging, relatable, and super fun (like, super duper fun) all while teaching leaders and businesses to change deep-rooted habits.” -Katie Werremeyer, Co-founder and CEO of Heartware
